MCIEP Program
Muli Children’s International Education Program is a non profit 501(c)(3) who provides funds for children to attend secondary grade school (high school).
Muli Children’s International Education Program has awarded 25 scholarships since January 1, 2012.
Scholarships are available for students who show academic interest in the area of science and mathematics and who demonstrate financial need.
Scholarship recipients will be required to provide proof of secondary school enrollment or pending enrollment, financial need, and recommendations
from a teacher, local chief, or pastor.
Our current efforts are in Kenya, where grades 9-12 are attended only by those who can afford to pay; around $500/year or $1.37/day. Kids whose parents cannot afford the full amount, are pulled out of school in the middle of the term.
MCIEP seeks to help Kenyan kids stay in grade school helping them to get a basic education to better their lives and better our world.
Muli Kids are referred by parents, pastors, teachers and ordinary citizens.
Students are awarded both on the basis of financial need and maintaining high scores in Math and/or Science.
